The Southwest Division, arguably the toughest division in the NBA, includes the Dallas Mavericks, the Houston Rockets, the Memphis Grizzlies, the New Orleans Hornets, and the San Antonio Spurs.
The San Antonio Spurs are the 2005 NBA Champions, but were defeated in the second round of the 2006 playoffs by the much improved Dallas Mavericks.
