  The Dallas Mavericks’ visit to the Q last night meant the return of Delonte West. Along with West, the Dallas visit also led to a re-hash of their NBA Finals win over public enemy number one in Cleveland. The former Cavalier guard is talking to the media these days, and expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Cleveland fans and the Cavalier organization, along with owner Dan Gilbert.   Not 2 minutes into the game tonight and Anderson Varejao had already recorded his first dunk, 25 seconds later and he added another dunk all over Dirk’s head this time to start a Cavalier 6-0 run. The Q is going nuts and you begin to think the Cavs may easily walk away with a win over the Mavericks. Dallas would regroup from the 6-0 lead by the Cavs to start the game by shooting their way back to steal the quarter and take a 9 point convincing lead, but this did not deter the Cavs. Cavalier rookie, Kyrie Irving, led with a great performance and finished his 11th career 20 point game with 20pts of course, 2stls, and 4 rebounds.   Many years from now Cleveland Cavaliers rookie point guard may look back on Saturday night’s contest between the Cavaliers and their guests the Dallas Mavericks as the moment that he realized he would have a successful career in the Association. With 2:34 in the game the number one selection in the 2011 NBA Draft showed the poise of a seasoned veteran as he drove the lane putting the rock through the hole and putting Cleveland on top for good at 87-86.   CLEVELAND, OHIO – With close losses to Orlando and Boston, there was concern that the (9-13) Cleveland Cavaliers needed to play with more energy for four quarters. Led by the youthful play and energy of point guard Kyrie Irving and center Anderson Varejao, the Cavaliers would display a energetic team effort in upsetting the defending NBA champion (14-11) Dallas Mavericks, 91-88.
