After the first two games, it very well looks like Ryan might be right. Chris Paul and the Hornets, despite their inexperience, are doing much better than I though they would. It still remains to be seen if Dallas can win its games at home and pull out one upset in New Orleans, but it is beginning to look like New Orleans was better than I gave them credit for.

Nice article. Only thing I disagree with is Hornets Mavs series. I'm picking Hornets in 7. Going to be a good matchup I just don't think Kidd can replicate his last regular season game. He'll get his assists and boards but wont make shots. Chandler will have a big series on the glass and in the paint. Also, I don't see the Rockets getting more then 1 win.

Check out my site for a Western and Eastern Conference breakdown:

Comment on It’s official: Shaq to Phoenix, Marion to Miami by Philippe

I don't agree that Marion`s fantasy numbers will go down. I think that overall he will even gain more value. In Phoenix he was only 3rd or 4th option to score and his PPG went down to 15, but we know he can score 20+ and I expect him to reach at least 18ppg in Miami as second option after Wade. Then Miami needs 3pointers to vary the game, so his 3s will at least remain, probably even go up. I also disagree that Marion will have less possesions. He didn't have any possesion in Phoenix, in Miami he will be more forced to play.

So I expect:
FG%: down
FT%: even with more shots
3pt: even
Pts: Up
Reb: Up
Ast: Slightly up
Stl: Up
Blk: Up
TO: Up

AMEN! A few nights ago I flipped it to NBA TV and it was the "Queens" verses some other garbage team like the Knicks. Come on! You expect me to watch that?

I want to watch the best game every night. The BEST game. Not what someone is dictating is the best. I hate watching the Spurs. Too be honest, I have never met someone who enjoys watching them. I think the only reason why I watch them is because I am waiting for someone to snap and just knock Manu on his key-ster! That I will watch all night long.

Maybe the NBA would be dominating in the ratings if they showed THIS YEARS good teams ... not histories good teams.
