Since some of the second round matchups are about to start, it is time to pick which teams will advance out of the second round.
I have to say that the first round showed me two things which are going to be invaluable for picking in the second round.
- The New Orleans Hornets are a legitimate championship contender.
- The Boston Celtics are not the prohibitive favorite for the title after the sub-.500 Hawks have taken them to 7 games.

I listened to the B.S. Report yesterday (a little late), and I’ve got to wonder about his NBA Playoffs picks… especially since he didn’t even know who was going to get the home court advantage between Utah and Houston.
If he didn’t do enough research to get that right, can you really trust any of his picks?

Boy, has this been an exciting finish. I would have blogged more about it had I not been glued to the television watching it and all of the highlights that followed. And all of the analysis that followed that.

I don’t think there is much really to say to introduce this topic. We fans have been much more interested in the NBA with the Western Conference being so exciting. But you can’t leave out some real powerhouses in the East either.
