In reading the headlines earlier, Jamal Crawford was not set to be one of the principles in the trade to Golden State for Al Harrington, who has long been in Nellie’s dog house.
With the trade final, now he is.
When Ellis returns, he will likely play alongside Crawford with both of them being capable of bringing the ball up the floor and playing off the ball. With the styles being so similar, Crawford’s point production is not likely to be much different under Nellie than it was for D’Antoni.
Al Harrington, on the other hand, should receive a huge boost in his numbers. If someone has dropped him in your league, snap him up as quickly as you can. He has had nice numbers in the past, and he will likely return to form. This mostly includes points and three pointers and little else, but expect him to average something close to 20 ppg rather than the paltry amounts that he is scoring now.
